There will be some electrical monkeying around in the near future for me. I was just wondering if anyone managed to cleanly fit the Blue Sea 5025 fuse box on a 6G and still have it easily accessible for when im in no man's land and need to change a popped fuse? If you could post a pic that would be helpful. Otherwise im just going to get a generic fuse black and fit it on... no big deal. I just like to common power and ground that is available. I'm stuck at the airport and the bike is a few hundred miles away so i wont be able to investigate for a bit...

Not sure how much room is under the seat of a 6th Gen. I put one there on my 5th though.

Not much at all bud... I can think of a few gaps though... i'm gonna check em out when i get home. I just dont want to order this thing before i figure out if i can use it.
If you don't have the ABS model, then the vacant space for it opposite the battery would be a good spot. I run a 6gen subframe on my 4gen and use that space for the rear coils, main fuse, speedohealer, and the original R/R (now relocated to the front triple tree) so there is quite a bit of room.

thats the exact spot i was thinking of... just dont have it in front of me to look at. now the real challenge is mounting my Hella Supertones... they are a bit bigger than i had anticipated...
So made a cardboard mock-up of the size of this thing... man its friggin huge for what it is! It physically fits in there without too much hassle but i dont know if i'd be able to operate the cover with 4 or less cus words involved. i'll snap a pic when its about 20 degrees out.

Not sure what year you've got or abs/not, but if you've got the non-abs version of the 6th gen, others have put their BlueSea where the ABS controller is located, which is under the left front fairing. Otherwise, I've seen other 6th gen owners put it opposite the battery with some work involved in accessing it, but the good news is, you do it only when you add farkles.
Otherwise, if you've got the ABS module, you're space-limited to either opposite the battery, or using the something like tightwad's setup, which looks impressive.
Right now, I've only got a Stebel installed, so I have no need for it, but if I ever want to install the Powerlet I acquired, I've got to think of something. I'm looking at putting it opposite the battery....

I put mine opposite the battery. Fits pretty well.
Thought about putting it just back of the left headlight, but was too hard to get too easily.
Undertail would have worked, but again, too hard to access.
I've got a Stebel, Starcom1, and heated grips hooked to mine.
I have and I finally took a couple pics. To put it where I did I had to do some trimming of the fuse box. You can see in the second picture the the block itself it trimmed on top. The cover is trimmed also to make everything fit and not smash anything when the seat is installed.

+1... I've got one and it's worked out great! I was able to fit the relay down underneath the center subframe support.

Amen to Tightwad's box. I have a non-ABS 6th gen. I installed mine opposite the battery. Pop one of those funky black covers and there it is. Very clean to install. Tightwad supplies double sided tape with his. I used the tape (as an insulator more than anything) and then bolted it to something under there.
Best solution there is in mine (and a few other's) opinion.
