Well I Did It! Joined The Club Got The Tee Shirt!

Well guy's it's been four weeks to the day when I first saw my first VFR! I was just looking for some damn quad parts and then I saw it. A 2005 in great shape without a scratch, hard side bags in sliver with 4,000 miles! Damn I wanted to give the sales guy the $ right there and then.... It looked like somthing out of a James Bond movie! I Couldn't think of anything but that bike. I tryed to hold out but just couldn't. So I went there today and took it for a spin! (Big Mistake) It fit me like a glove!!! I got back to the bike shop and told him put some new corsa III's on her and its a done deal. I'm real glad I did! Thanks to everyone on this fourm because after reading everything here it helped me make my mind up.....It's been at least 15 years since I had my last street bike and I feel like a kid again!

Congrats, you got the fastest (and sexiest) colour going, but I'm biased of course.

The VFR800 VTEC is one of best bikes ever made, build like a tank, seductive V4 howl and killer modern looks.

The Diablo Corsa III might not wear that well, you'll probably get great stick and lousy mileage.


Next set of tires, you might consider the Diablo Stradas. They'll probably suit the VFR's character and mission better.

Hey welcome,

I have been back on a bike (check the handle) for a couple of years now after about a 13 yr layoff. Nice choice of bike and this is the best site on the internet so you are 2 for 2. Take it easy until you sharpen your skills up and have a great time.

Welcome! They are great bikes! I love mine. Rode last night, nothing like the V4!!!

And VFRD is a great place, with good people. Its a mature group, age wise..... :goofy:

Been a couple years since I drank the Kool-Aid and don't regret a minute of it. Great color choice.
