Hi all I have a 2002 and at 29k I'm thinking about changing the Chain out. I've looked at some of the posts, and I'm thinking that a lighter chain would be nice but some folks have had replacement issues that chains are failing after a year. That's pretty bad quality. Anyway, I'm like to hear what chains people think are great. Another question I have is that it's easy to tighten and loosen a chain, is it easy to Change? Do I have to replace the sprockets?

Definately change the sprockets!! Worn sprockets will prematurely wear a new chain.
I thnk most people here prefer DID chains. I had an RK chain and it was done in 10,000 miles. The stock chain lasted much longer.

I'll have to look again but I believe I have an RK Chain. I did buy the bike used with around 21K Miles on it. I was thinking about getting a Kit but it only comes with a rear sproket. I guess I'll order a OEM front sproket with it. DID sounds like a good brand. I'll check them out.
