As i was pulling in my apt slowing down in 1st using just the rear brake i felt what i can describe as a surging (like what warped rotors feel like in a car at speed slowing down) coming from the rear, i think and i felt it again slowing down for a speed bump but not every time i slowed down. Both times i wasn't going more than 15 mph, not fast enough for the speed of the pulse i felt for it to be a warped rotor. I checked the calipers and they are tight so i tried to get it to do it again and nothing.
Anybody have any ideas? Could it have been the clutch plates slipping?
Mine does that when the brakes are really hot. The only time it happens is when I hit the brake pedal after a long ride on a hot day at low speeds. It only does it periodically and lessened significantly when I changed the front brake pads out (they were due but the back was still fine). Next time it happens try releasing the rear brakes and gently pumping the front brakes. For some reason that seems to work for me....

Really? It still did it from time to time on mine in the summer even after recently installing a new DID chain and sprockets..... :huh:

That could very well be it I've see the red dust i just clean it and lube it good. but do to being unemployed right now I've been try stretch(pun intended) the chain as long as i can
