#1 Sbk12rs Thread starter 16 Jun 2009 02:07 My 06 didn't come with grab rails .
While at a Honda dealer over the weekend I asked about them .....
$250.00 !!!! for the complete set rails and screws .....
Any suggestions where I can get a set more reasonably priced ?

my 06' came with them and the seat cover as well. Make them give you a set for free and don't back down. There wrong....
You should be able to get them for 1/3 that price on freabay or the classifieds in this or the other VFR forum. Check your local bike salvage shop.

Ask if they "happen" to have any in stock, if they do, they're yours! We all know they never keep anything in stock......
Like the others have said, If you bought the bike new then they owe you the grab handles. Otherwise, you might look into Service Honda.....$160.

I've seen them go on eBay for anywhere from about $60.00 to $85.00 a pair. I bought mine from a forum member.

Service Honda, Ron Ayers and several other Dealers give big On-Line discounts to anyone, just call or Net them.
btw I have a scuffed up set if you don't need new!
Every new 6th gen should have come with passenger grab handles, cover tabs and a rear seat cowl. If you bought your VFR from the original owner, ask him (or her) to think hard about where those handles are, or search for them. He has no use for them now, so there's no reason for you not to get them as part of the deal for your bike.
Barring that...+1 on the suggestion to check eBay - or even the classified section here. Another suggestion would be take the Service Honda or other online store price to your local dealer and ask them to match it. They can only say yes or no, and you might be pleasantly surprised. ;)

Service Honda applies the discount when you add it to your cart.
