How would it throw it off balance? I would also say your tire shouldn't be flexing enough for this kind of product to matter....

I had something like this in a car tire once, it was interesting. I doubt I would ever use it on a bike, but only because I am optimistic that I will never get a flat.....especially if I have a tire fixit kit with me.

I dont think it's like fix-a-flat or slime that will flop around in there. it looks solid so it should not be a balance problem...I would not think

Seen it before, I think it might have even been posted on these forums before also, not sure. However at the added cost I will just keep a plug kit with me, and save the what...2 extra pounds per tire the stuff adds? I think the only time I might cough up the extra cash for something like this would be on an extra long trip, but even then, I think I would wait for someone else to buy a set and get a nail in it and see how they preform, I don't like being a guinea pig when it comes to spare cash. :biggrin:

Guy made swiss cheese out of that tire.Curious as to how much weight is added. Guess it would be great for a cruiser or some on who uses nailed boards for road surface like that guy in the video.

It is impressive to see. But, I rarely run over boards with nails in them. Rather, I have picked up a nail or screw that then sits in the tire until it is discovered or wears the head down to it being gone. I carry a plug kit and it has save me some walking for sure. For many riders it is a little piece of mind they are buying and for them it seems a good idea. Thanks for sharing your find.

Not sure how much it costs, but I'd give it a try for a reasonable price.
I catch something (I mean nails) often enough here, in NYC and have Slime in my rear tire. Never had a problem with balance or noticed any adverse effects.

Wow. Gotta say that its rather expensive just for the coating. I mean I'm sure there was some R&D involved, or perhaps not, but their price point is way above my level of curiousity. I'm content with a plug kit.
