Selling my 6th generation 2003 Honda Interceptor VFR800 sport touring motorcycle. This was primarily used for transportation to / from work, local weekend rides, and extended week long trips to the Smokey Mountains. Two up riding is excellent... it's really makes it an extremely versatile motorcycle. For weighing in at 550 lbs (wet) it handles extremely well in the twisties, it carries its weight well (heh). Gas mileage varies anywhere from 37 - 42 MPG using 87 octane fuel, 33 - 38 MPG with a passenger & luggage. It's extremely stable at highway speeds and in rough weather, been through many rough thunderstorms on I-4 with traffic without a problem.

My VFR was originally silver but was repainted brilliant white earlier this year. This was due to a 50 mph low side accident last year due to a dog running out in front of me. The damage was cosmetic and the recent paint job rectified some of the remaining scratches.

Maintenance:

Battery - Original, it is starting to show its age some mornings, I would recommend replacing it.
Brakes - EBC HH Brake Pads
Engine Valves - Serviced at 17,000 miles (I have valve measurements for future services)
Electrical - Charging system has been beefed up considerably, if you're interested I'll explain
show you what work has been done to prevent the typical 6th gen electrical issues. Sub-wiring harness
recall was performed by Seminole Power Sports early 2009.
Starter Valves - Serviced once a year
Chain - DID VM2 530 w/ Steel Sprockets [Replaced early 2009]
Tires - Michelin Pilot Power 2CT (Front) / Michelin Pilot Road 2 (Rear) [Replaced early 2009]
