I only post this to make a point about ATGATT.............

The fellow riding this bike, after an illigal U-Turn was made infront of him.....walked away!

Wow. Thank God for gear, huh?

BTW, is that your VFR?

Lucky guy! Well, very unlucky, actually, but lucky that the unlucky didn't turn out as bad as it could have.

PS. How much for that LH fairing? :goofy:
#5
you could part out the stuff on the left side of the bike though atleast.
#6
No, not mine. A fellow on the BMW forums son's bike..........
#7

How much? and Where is it??

Whatever happened to that rule about not posting bike wreck pics?? They don't offend me personally, but I always found it an interesting rule.. I think I know why it was enacted... and I hate to admit, I think it worked as intended.

Quote from the forum rules:

Do not post images or links of a horrific tone such as road or track accidents.

I guess the intention of this rule is to not to post gore and bloody accident pictures. I am ok with this and other pictures when I know the rider is unhurt.

OUCH! A walk-away from this lump is AMAZING! I'm thinking guardian angels.

Damn that really hits home when you see the same bike as you in a mess like that - Glad the guy is OK!!!

I think it had very little to do with gear and everything to do with the rider not hitting the truck. Our gear doesnt put us in a protective bubble. We can slide but impacts will kill us dead very quickly.

I need that fairing too!!!!!!

Wow just looked at the first picture again, what a mess. DAMN!

Glad he is OK. And yes I believe in ATGATT and then some. I often wear 2 sets of pads. Lots of TI in my body that could kill me, but yet I still ride.

That thing is fubar.
At least the rider wasn't.
