When do they announce and show next years bikes?

I'm hoping for the annual MC show in Long Beach CA in December for me, January in Cleveland for you.
Until then I'm sick of the speculative threads. :beer:

Usually October-ish.

As in late September through mid October, It should coincide with a major show somewhere. Tokyo would be my guess this year, and the show goes from Oct 23rd through Nov 4th this year.

Maybe I can get there for one of the two public days on the 24th of October which is a Saturday, but a Shinkansen ticket from my location is almost $400 each way to Tokyo.

Jeez, the MetroNorth Railway could do that for under $60.00 round trip. Of course the train tops out at about 70 mph on it's best day. :laugh:

Yeah well for almost 60 miles one way it takes 12 minutes. And during that time it has to accelerate AND stop safely.

I've been to all of the major motorcycle shows (except Tokyo) and used to go to the European shows regularly on press day (thanks to a late friend in the industry). Unless something's changed in the last year or so, new models are almost always announced in Europe at the Cologne or Milan shows; this year the Milan show is scheduled for 10-15 November (and the Cologne won't be held until October 2010). Sometimes various manufacturers hold back a model or two to announce at a later show, but I wouldn't expect anything except Japan-only models to debut in Tokyo. EICMA (Milan) is fairly late this year, but I can still see it happening.

The Dealers already have a Link up.....viewed it Saturday..."Deauville" is comin' to the USA, a 700 Sport Tourer (most of my DN-01 engine less the 5spd trans, frontend, brake rotors & calipers, etc. came from it), and a Blacked Out Bobber style 750 Cruiser named the Phantom (might end up ownin' one of these also... :491: ).......all for now that's "OFFICIAL" for 2010...maybe more later...... :fing02: :beer:

The Toronto one is the first week of December sometime. I think it hits before any of the US shows, maybe if there is a new VFR that would be the place to see it first...Honda Canada seems to follow the Euro models long before the US sees them if ever.

If we get the so called VFR1200 and the US does not, anyone wanting to come north to get one has a place to crash. However the room rate is I get first ride on the new bike. :)

The Honda site is actually showing pics of the NT700 and 20101000rr. OKay small ones of the 1000rr. Bright orange with silver, looks pretty cool.

I thought last year's model intro's (at least online) were done in Sept. Was that "Dream Machines" mystery campaign last fall, or in '07? :huh: (I think it was '07.)
