Every now and then one comes upon a bike that is all things.
I have come upon it but I don't know from wence it comes.
Who knows who owns this bike?

IIRC, his name is Pat (tooslow). He hasn't been on since March though, and there aren't any posts or topics that come up in search. Someone in the Cali crew should know more.
The wheels are Carrozeria, Pat's bike was used for the original kit design because he knew someone in the company, so he got a good price on his. The price is high, but actually still a bargain because you get the single nut conversion, and the front wheel comes with galfer wave rotors.

If the front wheel came with Galfer wave rotors, I wonder why he doesn't have 'em on.
About the single nut axle kit, has anybody put one out for the 6th gen. VFR? If so, you'd think you'd see more VFRs with Ducati or Triumph rear wheels. Most of them look better than our stockers.
On a final note, can anybody point out this guy's blunder? He's got a sticker on the back that reads VFR 788 when, in fact, the motor only displaces 781 cc's. I can think of a few other things this guy could do to his bike (but even if he didn't, it's still the best-looking VFR I've ever seen.)

Can I demand that the stickers be removed? They make it look like the modified cars at our local circle track - cheap. That thing is gorgous in the second photo.

If that is tooslow's bike the last time I saw it (about a year ago) it was rashed up from a low side :blink: The other thing I remember about the bike is the solo seat, there's nothing underneath the passenger seat cowl.
The wheels are beautiful, but 1/3rd the value of our bikes for a set of wheels :dry: ... I'd say save your pennies for something else.

That's just the first thing I'd do. I'd also swap the CF cans for Ti ones for more contrast. I'd also supersport the front fender and cut a stock '06+ windshield and put it on.
I would love to be able to see how they did that and still managed to clear the stock rear caliper and rotor....must have a fair deal of offset to the right, although it could be their Ducati-spec wheel has more clearance. The only other wheel I saw that could be used with the OEM rear caliper and rotor was the Dymag Sport Magnesium.
