Wow... I'll be saving that for when the tax man call-ith stating my bike is worth like 8 grand. I'll simply show this add and my odometer with 35,000 miles on it and tell him to recalculate. Thanks Honda for totally de-valuing my bike. (Not that it was going to be worth anything when I'm done with it anyway) LOL
You might try Southern Honda Powersports if you live anywhere near Chattanooga, TN. A couple weeks ago they had 07 VFRs for the same price as the 08 CBRs $6983 with a free lifetime warranty on the engine. I just tried their website and I guess its down at the moment but it would be worth checking into if you are interested.

I just bought a leftover red 07 VFR for my wife and paid $6000.00 OTD. The deals are out there if you look and are willing to travel.I'm looking - I've become addicted to a few Google/CraigsList search engines, the VFR sites, CycleTrader...I'm willing to travel...and I haven't seen anything like the deal you got. I'm out in CA, and I want an RWB ABS, so that might screw things up. But I'd certainly jump at a red '07 ABS for ~$6k. Sweet deal!

Was that with or without ABS? Either way it's a pretty damn good deal. I just got my 07 RWB leftover w/ABS for $7299 OTD from Track N Trail in State College, PA. They had a few of them, and were asking $6499 for non ABS, but as far as I know, I got the last one they had. There was a guy out on Long Island, NY that had a couple, but he was asking $8300 for RWB w/ABS. Check CycleTrader, there's usually a lot listed there.

Not sure how far you're willing to travel (prob not this far) but this is the cheapest 07 RWB I found on CycleTrader. http://www.cycletrad...0FI%29-95922700 There's lots to choose from, all over the country.

And that's one of the reasons I'm going 6th gen - I'd like ABS. So, the search continues...

what I did was look on ebay/cycle trader and then I called the dealers and worked out my deal I did not tell them I found them on ebay first.
Right after I cut my deal these guys had one for under $6000. might be worth calling and trying.
Strange then, that they would be selling the 2010 VFR800 for $11,999 msrp (base model). You can bet that the VFR1200F is gonna be in the BMW price range for sure.
