I like the mini-saddlebags, too. Can you give me any details on those? I love my OEM bags for trips, but I like to carry a few things that don't all fit in a tank bag during longer one-day rides.

thanks for the compliments on the pics, the saddlebags are Chase Harper stealth. I got mine from aerostich for about $150. I made up a set of standoffs out of stainless conduit to keep them off the exhaust and hanging straight.

Head south out of Astoria on Alt 101. At Miles Crossing, turn onto Lewis and Clark Road. It will turn into Logan Road. It's smoooooth and curvy and very few cars. Shhhhh! It's a secret. If you can't find it, just ask any local for the "back road to Seaside". Everyone will know it . . . .

BTW VFROr, ever spent time riding in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest? I spent a week in Stevenson, WA, riding the roads up there. They are awesome, truly.

AND by the way, if any of you guys down there in PDX-area is looking for a Dyno-tune genius for your 6th Gens, I have the answer! Best tune I have ever had from EDR Performance! Wonderful shop with skilled techs. How many shops even know about VTEC transition? Not so many, far as I can tell . . . . .

Yup, been exploring the roads around here for quite a few years, lots of good stuff in OR and WA. Will be checking out your backroad suggestion next decent day :fing02:
