I have a fender eliminator kit on my 06 vfr and the license plate light has a short in the wire that goes into the housing of the light. Im wanting to get rid of the oem light and buy an after market light. Has anyone found a good replacement?

You might be able to get the OEM parts used from someone who's done a fender eliminator. You could put up a Want To Buy on here and see if you have any luck.

Your local auto parts store (e.g., Pep Boys) have a few different styles if you want to go cheap and ugly.
