Agreed. Gonna need a Staintune to really evaluate it!

I like it just fine, has a nice growl without being a hard edge metallic bark like some aftermarket cans, especially Staintune.

Just my hunch, but changing to an aftermarket can without the exhaust pressure valve is going to make people wonder what happened to the power, it's happened many a time. Most aftermarket companies don't do anything to actually engineer a proper solution, they just add the necessary plumbing and hardware to make an existing can fit, do a few dyno runs to make sure it still runs half decently and then put it in their catalog. Most people don't stop to think that the exhaust sub-system is actually an integral part of the overall engine tuning. A different exhaust can may increase power here and there, but just as likely it will lose power in spots as well. Caveat emptor.

Funny you should mention that... the big 4 have been telling us for years that their "power valves" added midrange, but a properly tuned pipe always seems to disprove that. This was the case on my '04 1000RR and '07 600RR. There's a good argument out there that the "power valves" are only there to meet noise standards.

My Lawn-Boy sounds better. :schla15:

the 90-93 is by far the better of all vfr's as standard....
ive had em all.. i think the 5.5 rear wheel, carbs and undestructable gear cam motor tips the balance

At idle is sounds pretty good, but once you twist the throttle it starts to sound like a sewing machine. :schla15:

That's because none of these sound clips give you anything else than the mechanical motor sound. Exhaust noise is missing.. characteristically..
