I wanna see a pic with the body off - those forks are REALLY short - I want to see how close the wheel is to the cylinder head!
One of my favorite 6th gen parts is the tail, and he ruined that. Looks uncomfortable, and as Seb pointed out, I am not sure he gets full front end use...

Hmmm, I wonder why? :warranty: I mean no one has done a CBR front end before. :biggrin:
My likes: cbr front end (duh), front turnsignals, very open rear wheel
Dislikes: unfinished cockpit, rear subframe, too much exposed mid-pipe.
Also, those look like FZ1 mirrors. I adapted those to my superhawk a few years back. They really help on that narrow bike.

That bike is unknown on OzVFR too. Interesting work, the Kawasaki front indicators look good.
Looking at the chicken strips on the tires (or lack there of), I'd say the boy rides the dog doo doo of the black machine.

Very Cool! Took some work, but he made his VFR the way he wanted it, with more to come. I like wear his head and heart are at, I would do a less extreme-make over (front and rear makeover), if I had another bike to ride (aside from my wife's) full time while it was out. Very cool and props for doing it!
Though I appreciate the outcome and quality of work, I really don't understand why. If you wanted a CBR, why not trade in the VFR on a CBR. I figure once the HBars are lower than seat, you have negated one of the princple features of a VFR, that an old guy like me can ride it without going to a doctor afterwards. And I believe my boney pelvis would crack in 2 on that seat!
I do like the inverted fork tho!

You're not the only one to think that.
On the other hand, some people want a sportbike with Honda build quality AND a V4! :beer:
I respect anyone who doesn't follow sheep and buy a Busa or any of the other cookie cutter bikes. I might be the minority on that but who knows.
I personally am enjoying building my VFR, even though I don't have the skill to ride it like I want to yet. When it is done though, I know that I will have something not too many people will have. Now if I can just learn to ride the damn thing.
