There are free downloads on the Apple website for MotoGP and F1 race dates that will load into iCal on the Mac and, according to Rush2112 (see below), it will work in MS Outlook also.

Mind you, it only gives the date, not the time or TV coverage. That'll still be up to you.

Go to: apple.com/downloads/macosx/calendars/

Or, in iCal, select "Find Shared Calendars..." from the Calendar menu and it will take you there.

Download the calendar(s) you want and they will then appear in iCal. There are 215 of them, all kinds of stuff.

UPDATE: for calendars showing AMA and WSBK dates, go to:

http://akress.com/cal.ak

This site will allow you to select from several different race series and build your own custom calendar. Have fun!

OK, so I download it and it doesn't go to my iCal. What's up? No, not a geek....

Hmmm. I simply clicked the "download" button and it downloaded and installed itself in my calendar with no further action by me except to specify if I wanted it in my Home or Work calendar.

I had iCal running at the time. I'm working on an iMac with OS 10.5.8 and iCal 3.0.8 (1287).

I assume you are running a Mac, and if I wasn't clear that this was for Mac, my apologies. Good luck, and let me know how you do. I'll edit my original post to make it clear it's a Mac download.

This is for Mac computers. If there are downloadable race calendars for PC users, let's share the sources for them, too. I don't think these are usable in Outlook or other PC softwares.

No more wondering when the next race is!
Dude,
I downloaded it and extracted the zip file, clicked on the iCalendar file and saved it right into MS Outlook. It opened it as it's own calendar. It gives is date & location. Thanks for the info... :fing02:
