As the title states, what does a new CCT come with? I believe I have read that they come with the key.
Do I need to order the gasket or anything else?
TIA!

I never stuck a key in old part/CCT. I just loosened the 2 bolts up slowly and evenly. It came out just fine/no problems. Maybe I did a NO-NO? wouldn't be the 1st time, just saying it worked aok/peachy fine for me, removed old cct no key, installed new cct with included key, turned it=tensioned it after install, cake.[image: View Post]Tightwad, on 08 March 2010 - 09:38 PM, said:
Doug is right, they come with the key. I have a brand new one I don't ever plan to install....next time one makes noise I will tighten the spring, I now have 3 spares..[image: View Post]soichiro, on 08 March 2010 - 09:26 PM, said:

If I had a way to measure tension I would test the new one I have and compare it....maybe I can rig up a way to have it push against a postal scale.[image: View Post]SEBSPEED, on 09 March 2010 - 06:49 AM, said:

Now let's say the new CCT was sitting on the dining room table and your 7 year old daughter removed the key and it extended fully. Am I screwed?[image: View Post]smiffer, on 28 September 2010 - 05:16 PM, said:
So the new CCT is inserted with the key in it and then after tightening the bolts you remove the key?[image: View Post]Lee 2002, on 28 September 2010 - 05:26 PM, said:
