Honda announces three year VFR1200F service plan

Well, we already have a three year warranty period and a three year breakdown service for this bike, but Honda have just announced a three year (or four service) plan for the VFR. I suspect it's for the UK only at the moment but it's a good deal.

It costs �575 and covers the 600, 8,000, 16,000 (valve clearance) and 24,000 mile service or the first three years and is transferrable to any subsequent owners during this period.

I worked out that this would probably save nearly �500 on servicing costs assuming I made full use of it so I have signed up.

As an aside, Honda have raised the UK price already by �500 starting April 1.

I'd propose that's an April Fool's joke, but I'm too cynical at the moment even for THAT!

If it were anyone but Honda I'd be with you! April 1 is the beginning of our tax year.
