Sorry to post another thread on this. I did a search and found 5 pages. I looked through them but couldn't find specific answers to what I'm looking for. I just want a camera mount. Ideally something to shoot through the windshield, front and center without turning with the bars. I'd also however like it to be able to move left and right, to get an offset point of view, meaning probably a longer bar. Any ideas on cheap ways to do this?
Also, can I use my standard camera with this stuff? Kodak digital camera? Or will this be bad for the camera??
Sorry, I'm kind of new to this stuff so pictures and links are worth 1000 words. Thanks.

On my ;98 way back when I hooked up my digital camera to the LH mirror stalk (Y2K version) using the U-bolt Ram mount. I used a short strip of rubber hosing to make the stalk wider and to serve as a vibration damper. It worked fine. The mounting plate on the Ram mount screwed right into the tripod hole on the bottom of the camera.

Only trouble was, every darn shot was of the back end of 2 or 3 riding buddies. Got tired of seeing those pics pretty quick. The pretty scenic shots never seemed to appear in line of sight of the camera.
