Great pics RufRyder, Enjoyed having you along on Saturday. MikeE n Jenn kept asking me today what your real name is.. Not many can keep up with them 2. You surely made a Impression.
To caption a photo n put in a plug for a great guy.
This is @ GR8VFR's house repairing the Radiator of the bike that hit the Tree just up the road on Saturday. MikeE also replaced 4 tires for 3 VFRD members and patched one tire that weekend. If you need tires or anything else and your going to be in the Area contact him on RideWNC.com.

Sam, thanks for leading us. You did fine, definately not you're fault about what happened. Hope you didn't take offense about me wanting to run faster, just seems to take more concentration for me to ride at that pace than faster because I have to make sure I don't run too keep into the corner. My name's Matt BTW. I had a great time chasing them as well. We all need to get together and ride again soon. He was there for a fallen rider when needed and that speaks volumes. Tell them I said hi.
Speaking of captions, this picture definately needs one. I'm sure we can come up with something good.............

Jeremy needs a white helmet and new screen name...some say that he knows only two facts about Ducks, and they are both wrong....all we know is that he is our tame Dragon Slayer, "The STIG"...
I guess that depends on who you are and what direction you are running...
Clockwise, perhaps two double apex right handers, counter clockwise at least thirteen opportunities for some to cross the double yellow and suck the vinyl seat into a place no man has gone before, with a few exceptions.
Showed up Thursday afternoon, checked in, hit 28 to the Gap and back, and pulled in 14 miles shy of 65,000. So I went back out to fill the tank and buy some beer!

MikeOnBike's mystery waterfall hidden away far off the beaten track:
Most of my pics look like everyone else's. But I did capture this rare occurrence. I'm pretty sure this was after the 2-stroke blender had been run a few times.

5 Miles from Wheelers - after getting my tire patched. I got a flat caused by a slice across the tread AFTER I left Wheelers. AVOID the reflectors in the middle of the road is all I can suspect. MAJOR SUCKAGE!!!! Wheelers picked up my bike on a flat bed no charge. Good people there!!! [image: Posted Image]
My phat ass resting at the Overlook one fine afternoon. What an awesome place!! [image: Posted Image]
I would make a Post on this Pic, but since it's Brian and Keith, "NUFF SAID" it would only go downhill from here..... :fing02: :laughing6-hehe: :laughing6-hehe:
Looks like he is missing a Peg too, Bet shifting is a pita.

Hole in the left knee of his jeans and the guy behind him looks to be this guy...from post #52 in this thread?

The guy behind him is from Fla. John IIRC. He rode with Ben, Trace, and I on Sunday.

If you click on Older Posts, there are a bunch more photos and captions from today, and several other VFR pictures.
Well, well, well.....Keith says I look like a prison colony ant eater because he cannot dig my ensomble. Well thats a fine kettle of fish WHEN YOU ARE WEARING THE SAME SHIRT!!!:

Jon28 and I were up in the area with a group of guys not on VFR's. The crashed 07 is a guy named Dave from our group..he lurks the board but does not post. Dave low sided 4 corners past the lookout on Wednesday morning. A large log saved him and the bike from going over the edge...but the bike took a direct hit on the windshield which did a considerable amount of damage. He was able to ride it down to the store and wait for one of us to get a truck trailer. Thanks to a few zip ties from CanadianKen.

Sorry it took me a few days to post them! I think I got a couple of good ones. Next year I think I'd like to try my hand at sitting a corner somewhere and trying to get some action shots of my fellow VFRD members Killboy style. I've got some fast lenses and my camera can shoot 8 frames a second.
Taking a break before heading up the Cherohala Skyway Thursday afternoon.

Nantahala Forrest is beautiful.

Thankfully no one left any parts on the Tree Of Shame this year.

Stopping for a break and some photos under falling waters.

Me under the falls with my 6th gen.

I wonder where this road leads?
Thundering waterfall. It was awesome. I want to come back to places like this just to do photography.

Viffers in the parking lot.

Hanging out and being goofy. Hanging out with all these cool VFRD members is just as good, if not better, than riding these twisty mountain roads all day.

A moth's eye view (cause birds don't fly around at night).

I had a great time at my first TMac! I can't wait for next year!
I only took a very few shots with my iPhone. :cheerleader:
On Friday morning with all the girls waiting for the rain to stop a small group of guys said they were heading out for a ride and I asked if I could join. Well I ended up leading a very fun group of guys including Ponrod, WERA903, MikeonBike, Y2Kvfr, YoshiHNS, Rice, kparham ??????? hell i forget the rest. Sorry.
But we road in a drizzle for around 30 min. then basically popped out of the rain and mostly stayed dry for the next 300 miles of fun, fun, fun!
We finished with a nice run across the Cherohalla before hitting Wayah Rd back into Franklin.
