I know there's a ton of Givi posts, i did a search and didn't find any posts which specifically addressed this question, so please forgive me if I'm repeating...
Can anyone confirm ifa Givi V46 top case can fit a full face helmet (Shoei RF1000 size L) and a riding jacket (textile or leather, with armor) at the same time? I'm pretty sure an E52 and bigger can, but would like to go with a V46 if possible. Now that the summer heat is here, the only thing that sucks worse than riding with all the gear is having to carry it around after you get off the bike. Would love to be able to store the helmet and jacket in the top case.

Should be no problem. I can get a helmet and jacket in a Givi 360 so the 46L should easily store one lid and a jacket.

No problem with me E45's, so you should be fine. Just have to play around with how it's packed. I found I get a better pack when I put the jacket back inside first, and then the helmet and rest of the jacket.

I can confirm that my Givi V46 fits 2 medium sized Shoei RF1000's snugly. If it were just one helmet, getting a jacket in there should be no problem if you fold it up correctly.

Hah - 'fold it up correctly' is the operative phrase here - took me about 10 minutes to get it right. :cool: Hopefully I'll get faster with practice.

My XL Shoei won't fit in an E360, even with the document holder removed, but the medium and small passenger helmets I sometimes carry, fit just fine.

My L Shoei RF1000 fits with the document holder removed and I've fit my 'Stich or Vanson jacket in the rest of the space. Should be a snap with the V46.
I can fit my Arai Signet GT in with my Rev'it jacket (Lab-R) in the V46 but don't like to. With the hard armor that's in the jacket, I feel like I'm asking seams to do things they weren't intended to. It'll fit though.
