Hi everyone! Just joined not long ago after purchasing a 1984 VF750f.

The bike is in great shape, with 34k miles. This past weekend, I decided to have a look at why I had such an intake roar and found out that the previous owner had chopped up the airbox and removed the intake horns which pull in cold air from front fairing rather than the hot air from behind the radiator. The airbox has been cut up and is broken in several places and beyond repair. So... to buy a new one. I found a few on ebay but none of them hair the intake horns. With the exception of a vf1000f air box which seems to be all there. My question is, can I use a vf1000f air box in place of the vf750f air box.
Another question - The first thing I thought about doing for the bike was to get the oil mod on. But it appears that there was either a factory oil mod already in place, or a dealer installed one. Here is a pic.

Sorry its so low res. Cell phone. : there is an oil tube that comes from the rear of the motor and then goes up and feeds all 4 heads. The tube was anodized black to match the engine.
Thanks again for your help. :-)
