Help identify tank.... Please!!

I saved this tank from sure destruction, well, maybe not - but whatever makes me feel better....

Anyway, I know it isn't for my 6th gen. Can anyone help me identify the generation / years this goes with??

looks like a 4th gen to me.

Uh huh, I see what you are saying. The fourth gen has the rear fairing piece that comes under the seat and connects to the tank. The 3rd and 5th don't.

Now.....

Is it good for ALL the 4th gens?? 1994 through 1998, right??

94-97 I believe.. 98 is 5th gen.
