Eletrical Issue with my 4th gen — Electrical

I shocked myself when I was young and almost killed myself. Ever since then I have been super afraid of eletrical stuff even if it can't kill me so this is going to be interesting getting over my fears.

Problems
My vfr gauge lights are out and I am unable to see them at night. If I am in neutral or making a turn then those signals work along with low gas. My left side blinkers are having issues as well. Both light up just fine but if I signal left my front left blinker shuts off and the back blinkers super fast.

Any ideas on what to check would be great. I am noob at this so please go easy on me :)

check your dash wiring connectors for corrosion positive engagement, etc.. if those are good, start checking the bulbs in the dash unit.
the fast blink is because the second element is probably broke in the front bulb. Replace it.

either way, w/ the key out, there aren't any hot wires in either of those spots that will even give you a good buzz.. hehe but if in doubt, pull the battery first.
