Manual Engine Cranking

Hey all,
I was turning my engine over manually today to distribute some engine oil I had dropped in on top of the cylinders as it has been sitting/will be sitting for a couple of weeks. I initially cranked it clockwise, but after 1 or 2 turns realized I ought to check my manual to be sure which way to do it...
So I had been cranking it the wrong way. I cranked it the correct way to distribute the oil and everything seemed fine... I had it in gear and the wheel turned blah blah...
Anyway, have I damaged anything, or loosened the cranking bolt or anything? How might I fix it, if so?

How where you cranking it over?

If your on a crank bolt or something that could come loose it could be an issue, if you where doing it with the plugs in. If you had the plugs where out the engine would spin quite freely so lossing a bolt would be unlikely.

Agreed. Sounds like you had the plugs our and were using the wheel?

I only had two of the plugs out...
And yes, I was using the crank bolt.
