I've looked and I've looked and I've looked. I can't see the place to ask the moderator(s) a specific question. Where do I go ??
I want to know if ANY of my posts have been deleted for ANY reason.
Thanks.

They're not going to delete any post unless there's a reason . IE; cussing / etc..... If they did delete something they'd tell you about it so you'd know why they did it..........
What some times happens is you(or me, or any of us) finish writing it out then forget to finish the requirements like "POSTING" / "ADD REPLY"

There is a cutoff date for inactive threads whereby they are automatically purged by the forum software.

The classifieds section is subject to more frequent purging than the rest of the board.

I routinely delete duplicate posts/threads without notice. Of course, only the dupes get flushed.

If a post is inflammatory in nature, such that it warrants deletion, the member will recieve notice.

If a thread gets moved to another (usually the correct) forum, there is no notice of that.

YOU WERE GIVEN NOTICE! You just failed to read it.

Yes to expand on that there are individual forums where it is specifically stated that there is a limited time for posts for example the "other then vfr" forum says "Please if your post is about VFR's find a better forum to post in as the title says this is "OTHER THAN VFR'S". Topics here get cut off after 20 days of inactivity, so if you want it to last it wont, this forum gets pruned at least once a week." right above topic list, above the edit screen and above each topic in that forum" its all there. The only way a post is deleted is if it violates the rules - and you agreed to the rules when you became a member of this board, we dont just do things willy nilly around here. I would say you were given notice when you became a member, and every time you posted, right above where you posted!
