After much debate I could not continue to just watch the bike sit and collect dust/rust under the cover. So I traded it, I wanted to try something different. A couple days ago it left my possession.

Everyone wave goodbye. It was a fun ride, great times, leaned a bunch

In its place, the fine gents left me this new (to me) toy. I think this will lead to a nice fun bike, will give me something new to tinker with.

Bike is a bit smaller than the VF, still has 4 cylinders in a straight line and revs to 13,500. And my daughter nearly fits on it at 9 years old.

See you all in the mountains.

thanks to all of you who I have met here, will still be lurking...

Yep that's a CB1! Definitely a nice score. That was the first bike I ever owned and I have nothing but great memories of it. Have fun!

Well Mike, I hope you have fun with it.

Now I've just got to get the Big VF in running order. It's going to look nice next to the NC30.

If you need any help with the CB-1, don't be shy.

Looks like we're both happy with this one.

Update, if anyone's interested....

So....carbs cleaned well the jets at least, other wise they were clean.

Adjusted the valves (all were too tight)

Swappped front and rear valve covers

Ran pretty nicely for a bit. Need a new bowl gaket on one of the outer carbs. (order parts, wait)

Stripped the forks for rebuild, waiting on parts to complete the forks. (order parts, wait)

calipers pulled for cleaning.

Should be on the road in a week or so.

Good luck getting her road worthy Jeff!

Had to stare at the trailer pic for a bit, the 750's look so nice with the front end strapped/lowered.
