1995 Honda VFR 750F Interceptor
$2370 (Apopka, FL)
Well cared for, maintained, and always garage kept. I'm the third owner (2003-2011) of this vee-four and have put about 14k miles on this myself, not as much as I'd like, but it's also the reason I'm selling it (along with 3 young kids now in the house now). :) The bike is currently just under 22k miles. I just changed the oil and filter today (1/4/2011). The bike has gear driven valves which make a unique sound, along with the custom exhaust note, and the sexy single-sided-swingarm.
This 1995 750cc V-4 VFR (aka viffer) has a few aftermarket modifications including Dynojet Jet Kit, K&N Filter (rechargable), Ixil Exhuast (shipped in from Europe - sounds great!), gel battery (from Seminole Powersports), headlight modulator, tail bob (fender eliminator), secondary LED tail brake/turn signals attached to license plate.
The bike still has the original owner’s manual and tool kit (both stored under the seat). I also have a copy of the full service manual printed off in a binder, along with addendums. I might have scribbled valve clearances on a few pages, and some pages may have some oil-covered-fingerprints from when I was working on the bike. Still all together in good shape if you want it. Have a black Lockhart-Phillips half-tank bra that goes with the bike that will keep your legs/jeans/belt from scracthing the tank (and has a better rider-feel then painted surface). The seat was re-upulstered a few years back with a new pad and cover by a professional. I also replaced the mirrors with the CBR variant (no rubber cover/condom over the arm - looked silly).
I do most of the work on the bike myself (e.g. oil changes and jet kit), but I had the sprokets and chain replaced last year by a professional shop. I have never done the tire installs myself. The front and rear are about 3-4 years old and are Metzeler Roadtec Z6 - still have life to them and can go several thousand before needing to be replaced.
