Four of the shouldered screws that retain the windshield on my '85 VF500F were at some time in the past lost and have been replaced with standard machine screws. Does anyone have some OEM screws and nuts that you would be willing to part with?

I'm sure you could find them at your local hardware store if you know what they are. Or, worst case, fastenal.
If they have the same set-up as later VFR's using a Wellnut & screw then you can go to any m/c parts store or Dealer and buy aftermarkets kits for cheap.
Thanks for the replies fellas.....I already tried Fastenal, showed them the OEM screw, didn't have them. The OEM setup is not wellnuts, it is a shouldered screw with a flange nut on the back. I used some plastic tubing to make sleeves for some hex head # 8 machine screws, painted the heads to match the OEMs, looks good.

Good job improvising!
