Since I bought the MOTY battery, I got to thinking about weight. That train of thought had lead me to CF tanks and then I found
THIS.
While reading this thread (WARNING. IT IS LOONG) I went from "Hmmm... I can do dat..." to "Guess a CF tank is not in my cards".
No individual task is particularly difficult, but put it all together and, well, I won't be trying it myself.
Can't believe it been 5 years since that was posted already! Time flies!
It's many moons ago I swore off painting motorcycles as too labor intensive (PITA tried once), I'm sure not doing that. :laughing6-hehe:
If you can create a good end result, and you like doing it, more power to you.
CF is cool stuff. Well, I guess for best results you bake it really hot. :biggrin:

As cool as CF parts are I'd get a lot more good from shedding a few pounds from my body! :laugh: (Seriously tho, it's true.)
I love CF stuff. Probably comes from my cycling days when CF components first started appearing, slowly (and very expensively) at first, then regularly. Love the low weight and the looks - including on my HJC CF helmet! :wink:

You should probably call it 1 year, as 1 measly day won't be near long enough. :biggrin:
My RC36: only the headlight and switches are still original, all other parts have been modified or changed for lighter parts.
