Many thanks, just ordered a set of the PPCT2's and they were $215 delivered. Can't beat that with a stick.

Going to spend a lot more time in the curves next year so these should work well.

Many thanks, just ordered a set of the PPCT2's and they were $215 delivered. Can't beat that with a stick.

Going to spend a lot more time in the curves next year so these should work well.

Just letting you know that many VFRD Twisty Rippers here prefer the PP rear over the PPct2! A PP run with a PPct2 front, this combo seems to provide the Best grip even in the A group at the track. The PPct2 tends to get greasy when run really hard! :blush:
Plus the PP rear is cheaper and last longer too! :beer:

Why would a "sticker" tire last longer that a harder one? I had PP on my FZ1 and wore it out just as fast as any sticky street rubber (Metzlers, Dunlops)

on the street, they wear about the same, but the PP is cheaper. on the TRACK or when pushing tires to 90%+, the PPCT2's grippy side section seems to release the oils too fast....you end up with it getting slick and then it seems to wear away faster. so while the PPCT2 IS grippier, in action, it seems to end up with LESS performance. my experience has been spot on with this.

I'm sorry, what's the question?

I said that the PP (harder) last longer vs a PP2ct (which is supposedly sticker), I was not talking about the PR2ct.
Michelin makes both a Pilot Power 2CT (SS) and a Pilot Road 2CT(ST).
