Hi to all,

I'm heading down south with a friend carrying my bike in his trailer this coming monday. He's dropping me in Asheville,NC and going further down. I would like to know what is the weather around the Dragon and further North on the Blue Ridge Parkway theses days.

I'm also travelling back to Canada (Qubec) after spending a few days there. If anybody can give me hints on what temperature to expect, it would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Alain

Deal's Gap Resort posted 75F and sun shine for the weekend on their facebook page this morning.

Still might be a little cold up on the Blue Ridge, the parkway is at it's highest around Ashville, 4500feet and up.

The Weathernetwork has a good site for highway forcast along your way

Hope it won't be as bad as it was here today, it was 82 ......That's just too hot :laughing6-hehe:

It's looking good temp' wise further North a few hundred miles this coming week. I've been riding every week here this Winter, so I'd guess it won't be too cold at anytime during the day light hours.

NC wouldn't be MY worry, it's the ride back to Quebec  I've still got 8" of snow in the back yard and it's still dropping below freezing during the nights.

I'm seriously envious though. How did you get into bike shape?? It takes me a few weeks of riding for my old bones to get back in shape so that I can enjoy day long twisties like NC & TN have to offer.

Take care and enjoy.

Yeah I still have that white stuff in the backyard too. Just hope I won't get a snow storm on the way back... :-)

Gym for 2.5 hours three times a week does help....

Take care and enjoy.
