What's an "F" Interceptor worth?

Assuming the following:
1) Valid Title
2) Under 50k mileage
3) No major accident history
4) Mechanically correct- no butchery or mods that will detract from value
5) Decent original paint or good quality repaint
5) Mechanically sound- everything works and not worn out
Now, I've seen NADA and KBB pricing, which is as follows:
NADA:
Excellent $2475
Very Good $1575
Good $975
Fair $900
Poor N/A

KBB: Suggested Retail Value $1350

But these numbers reflect industry averages, not what you or I would buy/sell for.
So, my question, for the record:

Taking the difference for what you would PAY for a first gen. Interceptor (VF750F) and what you would accept as a SALE PRICE for the same machine, which bracket do you place yourself in....REAL WORLD pricing? (see attached poll)
We are assuming Good or Very Good NADA

I appreciate your participation in this one. If you place your value ABOVE or BELOW any of the book values or poll ranges, please explain why...thanks!

The mileage would be the killer here. Under 50k, does that mean 49,000mi? Or 20k? Makes a big difference!

Also depends on the local market. As an example I can buy trucks and bikes cheaper in Texas than in New Mexico.

Both you guys are right. Demographics play a big role, and the mileage spread can be a big thing.
OK, let's say whatever you would sell/buy it for in YOUR locale
and for mileage, lets half that and make it 25k (I consider 50k fairly high mileage)

Freedom and Duty My first new bike and the ship I was stationed on in Yokosuka, Japan 1983.

Having owned a 1983 VF750F new and regretting selling it, I would probably pay $2k for MY old bike as a basket case if it had the original wheels and correct vin on engine and frame.

That being said, having owned a VF750F new and trying to get four different VF500F's to operate reliably to teach my two sons to ride on I would kick my ass if I parted with more than $1,800 for a rider. A bike with no sentimental value or optional rare parts should not bring more than that but they do occassionally.

All you need are two interested parties and the price creeeps up.
