Just thought I'd post some pics of my bike, before and after. I'm sure ive posted it before but it looks a little different now. Heres how it looked when i got it several years ago.

I gave up trying to obtain or repair the original fairings long ago, and decided to go in this direction, I'm sure not everyone will like it but I had a lot of fun working on it, so thats all that matters and its so much fun to ride  The tail piece is my first attempt at fabricating a fiberglass piece from scratch and it was very much a learning experience  so dont be too hard on me I know its not perfect :tour:
Here it is now, still needs some cleaning up to do but its ridable for sure

Looks pretty cool if you ask me. You sure did a good job with an old bike and it does look like it'd fun to ride. Well done!

Nice. Purists will ask "what have you done" but it's your bike, do as you like. It's fun to ride no matter what style VFR you have. :fing02:

Well good, mine is about the lose the red/white/blue paint job and become black (or silver, or white, or gray) with pink graphics. :cheerleader:

I like the over all concept. Super bike bars, blacked out engine and even the wart hogs rear end you made for it. :laughing6-hehe: Just kidding. Good on you for reviving a weathered and neglected VFR :cheerleader:

Hey What did you ever do with the upper Fairing. I am looking for a good clean one I can repaint for my restoration.

My upper fairing was in terrible shape, I cannabilized it and the windscreen to make a mold to glass my tailpiece.
