Having now ordered a VFR1200 I will be adding a number of ancillaries. Accordingly Ill need to take the fairing panels off and lift the tank. Having followed various posts now for some time it seems clear to me its a fairly straight forward job IF you follow the right procedure. Is anyone able to post instructions along with few pictures to point me in the right direction? From what Ive been reading there are many others who would really benefit as well!! Thanks in advance.

I had to remove the panels to install Honda heated grips. After I was finished with the grips I began to install the panels and really didn't know where to start so I ordered a service manual hoping that it will have step by step directions and photos. Maybe it's just me but I thought the install of the grips were a pain in the arss. I read somewhere that Honda pays 1.5 hours for the job, needless to say I wouldn't be buying any groceries this week if i was a Honda mechanic.
