Finally, I´m one of the proud owners of a VFR 750! This is also my first post on VFRD so, Hello everyone! :)
I bought it just last last week and after some short rides I can say - she´s awesome! :) The V4 engine, the power...and THAT SOOOUND..wohoo :)....I think that I have fallen in love with her :)
She´s an old lady. It ´s an ´91 RC36, and has 85.000km on tacho, and the previous owner had a little accident with her.
As you can see on the photos - left fairing is gone, and there are some little scratches - but, what is important - engine, frame and forks are all good!
I´ve bought it for 1100 USD - so it was good choice for my VFR project - fairing conversion. :)

My plans for the future:
I would like to make the fairing converion, and I really like the modern CBR conversions. (cbr 600rr or cbr600f4i)
The thing is - I don ´t have very much free time, and also don ´t want to spend thousands on it, so I am looking for the easiest solution
I don ´t want to put bike into 1000 pieces and build it up, I just want to order new fairing, light, windshield, mirrors and put them on bike, with some little corections and little changes.
Do you think that this is possible?
Sure i know that there will be some work with fairing stays, fitting different light bulbs and so on - that are things I think I can manage. But I would realy like to keep original gauges and forks.
I like this converions:

Question1: Which of the following front fairing conversions would be the easiest to do? (The less complicated = the better)
a) cbr 600 f4i
b) cbr 600 rr 03-04
c) cbr 600 rr 05
Question2: Is it possible to do front fairing conversion, with the standard vfr750 forks?
a) cbr 600 f4i yes/no
b) cbr 600 rr 03-04 yes/no
c) cbr 600 rr 05 yes/no
Question3: Pictures above are all 4th gen´s VFR; What are the differences between the ´91 and ´95 model fairing stays?
...or anything else that would complicate the procees.
Question4: When I put the cbr fairings on, and keep original forks and handlebars, will I be able to turn full lock?
On the pictures without 929 forks it looks like the fairing is very close to handlebars so thats the thing I am afraid of.
I see that my post is getting way too big so to stay short:
I simply want to have new fairings on my bike, and don´t know which would work best with minimum effort.
Thank you very much for your opinions and advice.
