Wow! Our cops here ride 35 year old Harleys. That would be a pretty nice perk for being a cop.

I wonder if the Bavarians are angry about the 'use' of their roundels. :happy:

Curious as to where they carry the equipment. Thought that was why most police used bigger bikes like the ST and them.

Or is that what his 'wingman' is for in the background there.

Oh man - could you imagine a job where they let you ride that bike and then pay you for doing it???

Uhmmmm... most likely just a publicity stunt helped out with a gratis or loaner bike from BMW/UK. It's just like the Lamborghini brought out almost yearly by the Italian Carabinieri for photo opps.
You see the actaul bike they use behind the 1000R which is more of an ST model.
