What makes you choose between Power Commander, Bazzaz, Rapid Bike or others?

Although I'm not so frustrated about the limitations in first and second gear, I still want better performance for my VFR 1200. On the long run poor fueling is bad for your engine, especially on high performance engines (besides engine oil, fuel is a lubricant as well).

My question to the forum members is very simple: "What makes you choose between Power Commander, Bazzaz, Rapid Bike or others?"

Vfrflanders, may I add this to your question: "and does the same thinking/benefit apply to the DCT model"?

PC-v is just for one model costs 285 euro's Basic maps can be found on the internet just as a basic start
Rapid bike is general and the wiring loom is just for your model. Costs 450 euro's No maps on the internet
I have no experience bazzaz

The final result after some runs shall be the same.

So make up your mind.

They all do the exact same thing. Personally I would choose the Dynojet product because there is more support available and more dyno operators are experienced the software.

Of the three, only the RapidBike offers ignition adjustment as well as AF adjustment. The PC has an add on ignition module, purchased separately. The Bazzaz does not feature ignition adjustment.

The RapidBike is generic, meaning you can bring it with you to your next bike purchase, you just have to buy a new model-specific RapidBike harness. I have one on my Ducati 1198S, a necessary purchase to match a full Akrapovic exhaust system to the Marelli race ECU.
