Thanks for the info

That's a very good deal. Make sure to buy one or more replacement pins as well, because they break easily (especially if you're removing a chain which doesn't have the soft metal heads on the link pins).

Ordered! THanks Kev!

Thanks BR,

I went down to the local CG and they had about 50 of them on the counter.
Also picked up a Motion Pro 3/8 drive T handle
All said and done was around 45 bucks
A Bargain!

or grind the pin heads first , so it dosent break the tool. Once you get into a 530 size chain, its tuff on any Chain breaker

I just saw this post... It looks to be $89.00 today with no mention of a sale or regular price... is that still the "killer deal" you're talking about?
I saw a Motion Pro kit for $78 elsewhere. In your "expert" opinion is the Stockton kit the better of the two? (as my grandpa used to say... "expert = X is an unknown quantity... spurt is a drip under pressure... Are you still an expert?")

No, that's not the deal. It appears to be over.

I walked into a CG store yesterday and picked one of these up. The promo runs through June 30, and the qualifier is that the sale price is valid " with any purchase."

When they say "any purchase," they're not kidding - I got a $2 bottle of anti-fog for my helmet and the chain tool and my total bill with tax was $35. Not bad.

Not sure how you get this deal with online purchases, but I'm sure you can. I've seen it published in at least two different mailings.

Re: my post above, I can assure you the deal is still valid for the Stockton kit.

So I just called the nearest store location to me... 60 miles 1 way!
I was told that "promo" was over yesterday however they would honor it for me "one time" so it looks like tomorrow's ride goes thru Manchester, CT!
Thanks for the heads up guys!

Weird... I just double-checked one mailer I got and it says "through 5/29." Yet there were marketing materials in my nearest store (Bedford, TX) that specifically said "though 6/30."

So I guess the answer is it varies by location. Ah well.
