Just over 600 miles on new VFR1200F. Everything's great. Love the bike. But idle is not silky smooth-- a little rough, like a Harley. Anyone have a silky smooth idle? Dealer did 600 mile maintenance and idle is still not silky smooth. Am I expecting too much?. I do use premium and have tried a number of different major brand gas stations. Anyone recommend Sea Foam or any other fuel additive for a smoother idle, or is that a really bad idea. Thanks in advance.
How smooth is your idle

Given the layout of this V4 a bit of a lumpy idle is expected. It gives it character. ;)

Thanks,

Smooth idle don't come in a can of wonder fluid... it doesn't hide in premium gas ... it takes fine tuning of the idle circuits to have each piston perform in harmony... this is what a V4 smooth idle sounds like...
