New vfr in the stable 86 vfr700

hi guys finally founs me aother vfr after 15 yrs since i had my last one a vfr1000rr and sold it ..found a 12k mi 86 vfr 700 in the classic red white and blue and its a calif emmis model..must be 12 ft of vacume hoses..whats interesting is the prod # ..37...4/86...been wanting a gear driven cam vfr for a while..sure is a different beast than the 83 500 and 750,s,...got lots bigger...finally got the bugs worked out ..and someone put the cobra F1 straight thru slip ons on it ..talk about announcing that ur comming..and it makes the bike run rich with no back pressure..gotta find some stock mufflers and get these things off..anyone wanna trade im good to go..crap im 59 yrs old and i like to sneak up on my adversary..but still do a buck and a quarter doing it..nice to find a forum that i can do research on and get some advice if i need it..gregg in kenton ohio

Very sweet ride.

Instead of finding a stock exhaust, I put the crossover back in my Supertrapps. Local welder did it for $40, brought the midrange back to a life I didn't know it had.

Also sourced a very pricey centerstand, boy was that money well spent!
