:biggrin: Hello All,

Below is a link for a road test for the 2012 VFR1200. It's a good, positive article. It briefly explains how Honda mismanaged information about the new VRF1200 as opposed to how they failed to meet (the public) expectations.

I think I finnally have mine dialed in correctly and its handling about as good as it is going to get, I really love this bike now!

What sort of tank range are you getting and what is typical mpg?

How does that compare to your 5th Gen? Seems like your CO altitude would help mileage. I always get better mileage in the mountains.

The 800 was more consistent no matter how I flogged it, the 1200 is completely dependent on how much I rev it, spirted twisties in 3rd 4th gear reved up for pulling out of corners will put me in the 31mpg range. Interstate cruising I get good milage. As you can see from the history data its all over the place 31 - 50 averaging 39mpg but conistantly up over 40mpg in the high country.

Thanks. I still have my eye on one but my 800 is still hanging in there and does well/tank range in the desolate areas even when loaded.
