Your going to be hard pressed to beat lazer, but the V1 has about the least filtering for lazer detection, your going to get falses as a side effect, sometimes certain rear taillights will cause it to go off.

But, how are your going to hear the RD? that matters in the set up, if running a wire to the ear a Valinetine1 will require an additional audio mixer. its also manual operation to shut it off on alarm.

I run a Bel STI, it is totally automatic with auto volume, so you dont have to touch anything, and I run a wire to the ear.

Ive thought about a external speaker, the thought of it blasting in open air, i dont find appealing.

Anyway, these will stop alot of easy stuff, but your still dealing with things like instant on KA, which is Deadly, and lazer is really the same type deal.

Luckily most my good riding areas are non lazer
