I was sure there's a thread on this, but I couldn't find it. Anywho, here's a road I found near Murphy Lake, Saskatchewan on this weekend's trip to a buddy's cabin:
That's a pretty cool one...I don't have picture of it, but somewhere up near Knoxville, TN, there is a Booger Branch Road. There's an address for you.

A few years ago, we found the the "Duck Nest Motorway" on a map, where it looks like a somewhat twisty road going into Cheaha State Park, in Alabama. So we thought we'd take our Honda Civic (with bicycle rack on the back) that way to the park.
Once we got on the road, we thought that the gravel at the beginning would only last a little while, before getting to the "good" parts. And then the dirt (after the gravel ran out) should be brief, too, right? Funny how rough that road surface is, though...
Turns out that the Duck Nest Motorway is several miles of OHV trail (for 4-wheelers, jeeps, dirt bikes, etc.).
Note to self: not a good road for the VFR. (Or the Hawk. Or the Civic, for that matter.)
