I wanted to mount a camera on my bike, so I used the google machine and found some tasty bits from Ram. Very nice hardware In true grill demon fashion, I wanted it now! So I took a stab at building my own. I had a piece of aluminium leftover from a previous project laying around. I configured it to use the mirror stalk as the mounting point.

Some creative cutting and grinding gave way to this:

Paint was next. Duplicolor metalcast red and several coats of clear ended up with this:

I had a tabletop tripod sitting around collecting dust, so I took off the legs and bolted it to the bracket with a piece of toolbox liner for a gasket and a dab of loctite.

Have to find a good road for a decent test. The camera will do video. Thinking of taping a piece of foam over the mic the quell the wind noise. A piece of velcro used for stereo wiring secures the wrist strap to the clutch hose. I will post results in the near future
