Hey all! There's not a lot of aftermarket for our bike, but, there are some farkles out there. List of mine and my thoughts on them (all were OEM Honda Accessories except the windscreen).........
- Side Luggage - A little smaller than my 6th gen, but work ok.
- Saddlebag Liner set - Doesn't "fill" the bag, but adequate.
- Centerstand - It's beyond me why this is not standard. This is also the easiest bike I have ever pulled up on its centerstand. Very low effort.
- Tank Pad - Carbon Fiber is just ok.
- Knee Pads - same as tank pad.
- ProGrip Dual Density grips - Stock grips suck. These go on every bike I own.
- PowerCommander V - Worth every cent. Smoothes out the delivery and seems to quicken the revs.
- Zero Gravity Double Bubble Windscreen - Dark smoke, arrives next week. Looking forward to it. Thanks FasterSpider. Good guy to do business with.
This helps to complete the bike to me. I had a LeoVince slip on installed but put the stocker back on. Undecided on which way to go. I'll let you all know if I want to sell it.

Saddlebag liners: Ventura makes a set that fit the OEM bags and supposedly fill them out better. I plan on buying some.
Center stand: With no chain to lube, what's the point? I bought the Pit Bull stand for the garage at less than half the price of the OEM center stand and I've never felt the need to take it with me.

Which pit bull stand would that be they don't list the vfr1200 on their site?

I just recently discovered a very useful but unexpected benefit of the center stand: I low sided my bike at a moderate pace a month ago, the usual side panels, footpeg, alternator cover, bar end got scuffed up and mirror broke off, but without the center stand lever protruding over the swing arm, it would have gotten a really nasty scarring. As it were, the swing arm itself was untouched; however the lower tip of the final drive housing got a light scuff which undoubtedly would have been much more severe without said center stand lever keeping the bike elevated just enough.
BTW, everything is now replaced including the center stand (the lever got bent inward and foot pad got shaved) and looking good as new except for the barely noticeable final drive scuff. I wish Honda had designed the final drive cowl to be extended outward just a bit more to protect the tip of the final drive in such a low side as this, but I digress.

IIRC Honda actually has a part number for the stand and it can be purchased through Honda dealers. I suspect Honda may have collaborated with Pit Bull to develop it.

I think R&G makes a final drive slider insert.
You can buy the stand directly from pit bull or any pit bull dealer. I email Pit Bull directly and they gave me part number #PB F0086-000. I don't understand why it's not advertised anywhere. I ended up buying mine from sportbiketrackgear.com, but I had to email them too, as it's not advertised on their website either.

It's a shame that Honda left off the centerstand but at least its available to buy$$. Back in the days of the UJM nearly all bikes had the cs, shaft drive or not. Even early japanese cruisers had em.
OK, next mod is likely to be removing the power limitation in 1st and 2nd. It doesn't bother me normally, but when you start to wick it up, even one notch, it becomes an issue. I find myself choosing 3rd gear instead of 2nd to avoid a dead throttle repsonse. I have no idea why Honda did this. It seems to have no benefit. If they wanted a babysitter for me, put actual traction control on your flagship bike! I really like this bike, but they hamstrung it with this and missed a few other items (centerstand, etc.). They built a K1300s beater, then tied one hand behind it back. Stoopid. Great bike otherwise though. Hate the Bridgestones too. Going to PR2 or PR3's over the winter. Oh, get the ZeroGravity Double Bubble. It's nice. Be sure to install correctly as they miss and important piece of instructions in the instructions. The big washers are spacers for placement at the mirror mounts (inside the fairing). They snug things up a bit as the ZG is a thinner material than the OEM. Ride safe.

Only have had my 1200 for about a month so I am still researching things I would like to do.
I have added the ram mount IPhone holder, removed flapper exaust cable and cleaned up the lience plate holder. Still not 100% happy with the tail section, I want to remove the lience plate light and replace it with some small LED lights and move the lience plate up to where the rear reflector is. Will post pics when I do this.
I also added the oem rear top box and have the oem side bags on order, although I am not happy with the size of the Honda top box, it is kinda small.
I ordered the accessory harness and will use this to power the fz-1 fuse box for the USB port that I have for my phone.
If you could post up a picture of your license plate clean up, I would appreciate it. I'm still deciding how I want to do this. Thanks and ride safe.

It not much right now I just removed the bracket that holds the reflectors and drilled holes in the lience plate to match the holes on the plastic holder. I really want to get some LED bolt lights to replace the tumor of a light that is now used for the lience plate
Light, and put the plate where the rear reflector is now. Them I can remove the lower plastic bit that holds the lience now. Have to wait till it is light out side to take pictures.
