is this a good deal - Third and Fourth Generation VFR's

I think that this shield is one of those that are recently being made in Hong Kong. The shape seems to be better than the ones that first came from HK, but I'm not sure about the quality of the fit or the toughness of the plastic material.
Note that these sheilds are most likely made using a "vaccuform" type of machine to "blow" them to shape and then they are trimed and polished at the edges. Using that method rather than moulding/casting it (I'm sure the OEMs are moulded/cast as you can see from their rolled and thickened edges) in a form makes it neccessary for some manufacturers (hello Zero Gravity :dry: ) to use thinner acrylic material so they can get the shape closer to original and get the best fit. Unfortunately, this often results in a sheild that is not as strong as the original and crack easier on impact and any pressure put against it (My ZG shiled cracked to pieces after a very minor incident). So keep that in mind when buying most of these aftermarket shields, specially when they cost this cheap....

I have that exact screen from that exact seller. It's a *&^%^* POS. Doesn't fit without modifying it and even then only fits half assed. The plastic isn't even clear in spots from the molding process. To the sellers credit he did give me a refund. Nice guy POS product.

I have just fitted a very similar if not exactly the same screen but smoked colour to my 94 vfr.
The screen doesn't fit anywhere near as well as the stock screen and I had to use a dremel to remove quite a lot of material to get the screen to fit where the top section of fairing is (single bolt hole).
The screen has a few gaps along the edges.

VFR750R is the RC30 from what I remember. So I doubt it would fit.

The ad is misleading as the picture is definitely the correct screen for the 94-97 VFR and yes the ad says for VFR750R which is not the correct tag for the 4th gens.
