So I had a "good" evening with my turn signal short. previously every time I changed the fuse after a turn signal blow everything would be fine for 1-100 miles and then it would blow again. Tonight the short was "on" and every time I changed the fuse it blew when I activated the left turn signal. This did let me be sure that the left signal was the one, but I still have not been able to find the short.
So it's not the wires where they go into the bulbs, that much I can eliminate. Are there any suggestions on where to check next? It's been intermittent for a while, so it's something that's moving and sometimes shorting out, tonight it just happened to be in the short position. it's definatley the left signal. This helps because now I can ride with at least my right turn signal.
thoughts? Anything common? Search has not given me much to go on.
I have replaced both the relays, so it's not there.
Thanks,
Dan
