Thanks for putting this together but I can't make it Sunday. I originally tried to get the ride going Sat but there was so little response I gave up. Plus I'm a newbie to the street. I will be riding at Milestone MX on Sat. though so at least a get to ride something. Maybe next time. I'm free Monday. Any chance someone wants to ride then?

Usually the best way to get a good showing is to give 2-3 weeks notice. I'm notorious for either 2 weeks or 2 days notice. Alot of factors determine people showing up.
1. Schedule - work, family, church. it's hard to schedule a day when nothing is going on so you can spend 6-8 hours riding. I know. I'm a cheer dad. ugh...
2. Route - If you post a ride to Vegas and back, chances are you might get a few people. Post a ride to Palomar and suddenly everyone starts chattering. ACH, Palomar, GMR, Malibu, Big Bear, seem to be the favorites for So Cal.
3. Fellow Riders - I've had some people apprehensive about riding with complete strangers. We feel the same way. We don't know how you ride, experience level, etc. I tend to organize newbees towards the back until they get a chance to learn the group. There's about 15-20 of us that have ridden together before. We know who's fast and who's not. The first time out is a learning experience for not only you, but for the group as well.
4. Weather - some people (myself included) just don't like riding in extremes. If it's over 105 or under 35 I tend not to ride. It's not fun. Others, might like 115 in Borrego Springs. So weather is also an important factor...
Normally I don't change a ride once it's posted. I made an exception this time simply because it's going to be my last ride for a few months, and there seemed to be more of an interest in Sunday. Now that I have, it seems like no one else but Todd wants to run.
No wonder I didn't see you in Wrightwood. Got there just after 12, and the Yodeler had a lot of Hogs out front.
Since I had a late breakfast, and didn't see anyone I recognized, decided to head back down the mountain.
Was a real nice day up there. :tour:
So I hope the wheel is all that got damaged. WTF happened man?

With the recent rain we had lately, cleaning the air. I was curious what the view from Mt. Wilson Might be like. After chasing Todd for most of the way down the Crest, I made a detour up to Mt. Wilson
This is the clearest I have seen it, you can see down town L.A., the ocean, and even Catalina Island exceptionally clear.[image: IMG_1060.JPG]
that's what I thought, but it didn't just bend the outer section of the rim, it extends further in as well. We'll see, the wifey is taking a spare set in to get powdercoated next week. Bright flippin red...
yeah, it's how I roll.
