1st & 2nd fix.....

I read something in an earlier post that mentioned Bazaaz having a plug and play fix for the dreadful 1st & 2nd gear fueling. I find nothing on their website. Does anyone know anything about this or did I misunderstand the post I read? Thanks all and ride safe.

PS. Also, I read in SportRider about a company that reflashes your ECU (ECUnleashed) to fix various problems (fueling, timing issues, etc.). It seems they could fix the fueling issues without the wrong gear indications. Not a plug and play, but a reflash of the ECU. So, normal gear indications and full power in 1st and 2nd. They can also put it back to OEM if needed. The nice thing about it, no cutting into wires. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about it. Ride safe.

This ECUnleashed sounds interesting. I did a little research in web and it seems to cure all the problems and do all nice things. It would be nice to hear from somebody who has done it to VFR1200 and what are the results. Also what happens to fuel consumption. It is not nice that after the change the gas tanks begins to feel even smaller. Anybody?

yeah i looked into them when i had the 09 R1 as its limited to 80% throttle in all gears, forget the name of the company now, also know a guy who had his done and loved it, at $400 odd dollars it was way cheaper than the Yamaha Race ecu too by about $3,600

I did look at that thread. It's a great education and I really appreciate your work on this. I would rather not cut into my wires, but, that may be the way of it. My warranty is up at the end of the month, so I may do it over the winter. Thanks again for your effort and insight on this. Honda should be paying attention and offer us a reflash. Ride safe.
